Adult Services is comprised of several programs that provide services to assist elders and dependent adults living in Fresno County.

In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)

Provides a general overview of the IHSS program, eligibility requirements and how to apply.

Fresno County Public Authority

The Public Authority was established per State mandate to act as Employer of Record for In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Care Providers & maintains a Provider Registry to help the IHSS Recipients find Care Providers so they can remain in their home safely and independently.

Secure Document Submission for IHSS & PA

Upload documents for IHSS and the Public Authority securely through this link. Users can upload up to 10 documents at a time and receive confirmation with a date & time stamp.

Adult Protective Services (APS)

How to report elder/dependent adult abuse, information about the role of APS, resources for mandated reporting and definitions of types of abuse.

IHSS Provider Online Enrollment and Orientation

Using your home computer, smartphone, or tablet, you can complete all of the required enrollment forms, watch the required orientation videos, and schedule your quick, in-person appointment to provide your ID and Social Security cards to be uploaded into the computer system!
