These paraphrased questions and associated responses are not part of the contract documents and shall have no bearing whatsoever on the interpretation of the Standard Specifications, the Standard Plans, the Special Provisions, or the Plans. Nor shall they have any bearing whatsoever on the interpretation of other publications referenced therein.

Questions without answers may be posted here to indicate that we have received them before the deadline and we intend to respond.

Are contractors responsible for the disposal of chlorinated water? How would it need to be disposed? (RFC 2328-1 submitted 3/22/2024)

What is the timeline for this project? (RFC 2328-2 submitted 3/22/2024)

See Specifications Section 8-1.04C. Response date: 03/25/2024

Is there tracer wire for the underground components? (RFC 2328-3 submitted 3/22/2024)

There may be tracer wire for site piping. Its condition is unknown. The Contractor is responsible for potholing and verifying the location of all existing underground facilities within the project area. Response date: 03/25/2024

Where would the temporary water system be located? (RFC 2328-4 submitted 3/22/2024)

All equipment, temporary or permanent, shall be located within the fenced distribution site. Response date: 03/25/2024

Is there a preferred material for the piping? (RFC 2328-5 submitted 3/22/2024)

Refer to sheet 4 of the Plans and Section 100-1.02 of the Specifications. Response date: 03/25/2024

Will the tank system need to have a vault? (RFC 2328-6 submitted 3/22/2024)

The storage tank fill will have saddle taps for chlorine injection. The chlorine line is installed via trenched carrier pipe from the Operator shed. Response date: 03/25/2024
