What is the deadline for submitting DBE Documentation? Does it have to be delivered in physical form or can it be emailed? If email is approved, please provide an email to send DBE and supporting documentation. (RFC 2304-1 submitted 1/15/2024)
DBE paperwork is due by 4pm on the 5th calendar day after the bid opening. Physical copies can be dropped off at our office or they can be e-mailed to DesignServices@fresnocountyca.gov. Response date: 01/31/2024

The current bid form has an understated count of 16 for inductive loop detectors. The traffic signal drawing shows 32 inductive loop detectors. Please revise the bid to account for the loops shown on the drawings. (RFC 2304-2 submitted 1/24/2024)

The soil report has been posted under Supplemental Information. No soils report is available, however the County lab performed soils analysis. The values of the test results are posted as supplemental information. This information is for the contractor's information only. This is not to be considered to be part of the contract documents and shall have no bearing whatsoever on the interpretation of the standard specifications, the standard plans, the special provisions, the construction drawings nor shall they have any bearing whatsoever on the interpretation of the other publications referenced therein. How long will Fowler will be closed at Floradora Avenue? This could save the County some money if we could close Fowler at Olive. (RFC 2304-10 submitted 1/25/2024)
Unknown at this time. The Floradora Avenue project is a City project. The County does not have control over it. Response date: 02/02/2024
Has a schedule for the relocation of the overhead power lines been established? Labor and material cost might be affected if the date is a long way out. (RFC 2304-12 submitted 1/30/2024)
Relocation is unknown at this time. Coordination between the County and PG&E is ongoing. Response date: 02/02/2024

Where the plans call to remove existing fencing of various kinds and locations, will it be required for a temporary fence to be installed by the Contractor in its place until construction is complete? Also, who will be installing the new proposed fence if there will be one installed? (RFC 2304-13 submitted 1/30/2024)

Bid item 14 calls out to remove 43' of RCP pipe. It appears that this pipe may tie into the existing storm drain that is running on the north side of Olive. If so more work may be required to remove this pipe. (RFC 2304-16 submitted 1/31/2024)
