TO RESPOND TO THE CITATION:
The registered owner, lessee, or person responsible for the vehicle cited shall within 21 days of issuance, either:
- Pay the parking penalty, or
-
The registered owner of lessee of the vehicle may submit a written appeal online at www.CitationProcessingCenter.com or mail your appeal with any supporting information to the address as noted above. Your payment or appeal request must be received within 21 days of the citation date. Submitted documents will not be returned.

THERE WILL BE A $25.00 SERVICE CHARGE FOR ALL RETURNED CHECKS.
WARNING: Ignoring the time limits of a citation may result in additional penalties and an eventual lien hold being placed on your vehicle registration with the DMV. Vehicles with five (5) or more citations may be impounded or immobilized pursuant to CVC section 22651(i)(1) and 22651.7.
INDIGENT STATUS: Application for the indigent status payment plan must be submitted within 60 days of citation issuance or 10 days from hearing determination. For more information please call 800-989-2058 or visit www.CitationProcessingCenter.com
Failure to pay your citation within 21 calendar days from the date of the citation may result in a doubling of the parking fine.
In addition, the amount can be assigned to a collection agency and notification to the Department of Motor Vehicles. The DMV is required to withhold the issuance or renewal of your vehicle registration until the fine is paid.
CORRECTABLE VIOLATIONS
CVC Sections 5200, 5201, and 5204(a) require vehicle inspection and evidence of violation correction.
Violations cited in accordance with Vehicle Code Section 40522 will be dismissed if the PROOF OF CORRECTION is presented to the County Parking Program by mail or in person within 21 days from the date of the citation. Evidence of correction may be obtained at any police agency which provides such service.
CORRECTED VIOLATIONS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $10.00 ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING FEE.
