Nathan Magsig grew up in Fresno county where his parents taught him the value of serving others. As the son of a local pastor, Nathan witnessed how God has a profound impact in every facet of life. As a student in Clovis schools, Nathan developed his character through rigorous academic and athletic programs; excelling in Football, Track, and Wrestling. Committed to lifelong learning, Nathan has a Master of Science degree in Criminology and a Master of Business Administration degree from California State University Fresno. In addition to his academic achievements, Nathan is a licensed general contractor, a licensed lead inspector, energy management and building performance specialist.
The last 20 years, Nathan has worked as a youth pastor, legislative staff member for the California Assembly, Executive Director of a non-profit affordable housing developer, Energy Director and RME for Fresno EOC. Nathan served on the Clovis city council for 16 years and had the pleasure to represent his constituents as Mayor twice.
As a Fresno County Supervisor, Nathan is committed to the following:
- Creating new water storage
- Economic development to generate new jobs
- Protecting agriculture
- Enhancing public safety
- Improving county roads
Nathan is married to his wife Julie and they are raising their 3 boys in Clovis. In his free time Nathan enjoys cycling, spending time with his family, camping, and reading.
