Centro La Familia
Community-based behavioral health support and stigma reduction education services. Mental health consumer and family advocacy services to unserved and underserved populations, consumers and families. Facilitate relationships, service linkages, and mental health services between consumers/families and County of Fresno, as well as other community providers.
Cultural-Based Access and Navigation Services
The Fresno Center
The CBANS Program is an instrumental component of providing wrap-around service intervention utilizing a holistic and culturally relevant approach, and delivered in a natural community setting. The purpose and goals of this Program are to build on the skills or interests of the client in order to maximize: emotional and physical independence, self-care and daily living abilities, positive stress and symptom coping skills, and social and interpersonal interactions. By developing these skills, the client shall learn to depend less on more costly crisis services, and shall minimize or avoid more severe outcomes such as substance abuse, hospitalization or incarceration.

Family Advocacy Services
Reading and Beyond
The Family Advocacy Services program will provide Family Advocacy Navigators (FANs) to assist family members/support systems in coping with the signs and symptoms of mental illness of their loved one (adult or child) through the provision of culturally sensitive information, education, support, navigation of DBH services and referral to community resources.
Holistic Cultural Education Wellness Center
The Fresno Center
The Holistic Cultural Education and Wellness Center will provide an innovative approach in addressing mental health/behavioral health related issues for underserved and un-served clients who may typically not seek traditional (Western clinically based) mental health services, and may be more responsive if County staff and County practices understand and incorporate alternative culturally and ethnically focused wellness and recovery practices. The Center is not designed to be exclusive in terms of who may access the education/referral component and any member of the community may be interested in alternative culturally and ethnically focused wellness and recovery practices in addition to clinically based treatment.
Horticultural Therapeutic Community Centers
Multiple agencies
Program to provide/enhance horticulture-based community sites (community gardens) to serve as neighborhood resource centers for the delivery of mental health planning and early intervention activities specifically designed to address community mental health in culturally sensitive and linguistically competent ways. Services include Peer support services, mental health education and awareness, mental health training, and other related support services.
Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors (LOSS)
The LOSS team provides information, support, warm linkage, and resources to newly bereaved suicide survivors. Immediate assistance is provided to survivors to help them cope with the trauma of their loss, provide follow-up contact with the survivors, and coordinate the utilization of services and support groups within the community.

Multi-Agency Access Program (MAP) Points
Provide an integrated screening process which connects individuals facing mental health, substance use disorder, physical health, or housing challenges to supportive services and match individuals and families to the right resouces at the right time in the right location.
Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)
JDT Consultants, Inc.
TBS are one-to-one therapeutic contacts between a mental health specialist and the client for a specified and limited period. TBS focus on behaviors and symptoms, which may jeopardize existing placements, or act as barriers to a lower level of residential placement or the completion of specific treatment goals.
